Materials Yous'll Demand

Here is what I used. My transom across the back is approximately vii' across, and then you should be able to calculate a little and figure out what you need according to the size of your boat and transom.

2 sheets of 1/two" Exterior Plywood
Approx. 3 gallons of Polyester Resin
Approx. 2-3 yards of Chopped Strand (50" width)

Approx. 3 yards of 1708 mat
1- 2x4 eight feet long.
2 bolts 5" long
5200 to seal all holes in the transom

Now if you by chance replace the outer skin (hull) of your transom you volition need a lot more than than 3 yards of 1708. The hull should probably have most 5 to 7 layers of fiberglass instead of 1 or 2 similar the inside has.
